Where art thou my fair Romeo?

After being in class with the same teacher everyday for fifty minutes, you form quite a bit of an opinion about them. Mrs. Hoppe for example, is one of the sweetest ladies I know and Mr. Molle is super funny. But I'm not going to talk about either of them. I have english class after lunch with my best friend Sarah. Considering we just ate, everyone is full of energy. Well, some more than others. At the beginning of the year she sat three rows away from me. But now she sits directly behind me. No, she didn't ask Mr. Statz if she could move, she just slowly sat in empty seats, moving closer to me every time. There's no way that he didn't notice this happening considering he takes attendance everyday by looking at the seating chart.
Basically no matter what we do, he doesn't care. Lately we have taken it to the next level. As soon as Statz announced to us that we would be reading Romeo and Juliet aloud, we knew what was going to happen. I would platy thew role of Romeo and Sarah would be Juliet. I battled for Romeo against other people and prevailed. And Sarah had no competition. Reading aloud so much developed our thirst so we decided to bring in a giant bottle of V8 to class. It certainly quenched my thirst. We then gifted the empty bottle to Mr. Statz out of our gratitude for our education. When Romeo and Juliet finally met in the play, Sarah and I faced each other, held hands, and resumed the roles of our characters.
School should be about having fun while learning. When we're bored we don't tune in to the lecture or whatever the teacher is talking about. So to the teachers out there, (don't worry about it Mrs. Kies, this isn't about you) make it fun!
